I made it all the way to the last town!!!
Vernazza
On June 6th we traveled to La Spezia and stayed there only one night. The main purpose of our stay there was to go to Cinque Terra, or the "five lands." Each little town is unique and sits on the side of a mountain. The majority of our class hiked 11 miles from Corniglia to Monterosso. It was truly an amazing accomplishment!!! There were many stairs almost completely vertical. A few times I questioned whether or not I could continue but I made it!!!
The five villages that make up the Cinque Terre, from north to south are:
